A MESSAGE FROM OUR TREASURER MOSES GAZAZIAN
Dear Brethren of Home Lodge,
I had the honor of being part of 50 year Golden Award Ceremony for our Worshipful Brother Ken Judd and two other worthy Worshipful brothers at Van Nuys Lodge in May with few of our brothers of Home Lodge and what struck me most was all 3 brethren walked the same path together and kept that friendship going for 50 years. That’s what Masonry does to few fortunate ones and unfortunately the opposite also happens where in today’s fast paste life they break away and randomly connect back with each other and sometimes on seldom occasions we meet and say hello.
I remember going thru my degrees and remember “3 musketeers of Home Lodge” as we called ourselves, because we all took our degrees together and were raised together. Michael moved to Vegas and the other two, Victor and myself we still keep in touch. Yes we don’t talk as often as we would like to, due to work and our busy lives, but when we hear each other’s voices, we know that at the other end of the phone is a worthy brother a musketeer of Home Lodge.
“ all for one and one for all” and there isn’t anything that we would not do for each other if we are called on to do so.
Point of this story is relationships that we built in our lodge are for a life time and it happened and will continue to happen if we chose to do so ourselves as Worshipful Ken Judd and his brothers did. I only wish and hope that our new generation will continue building their life long relationships and find that team, call it what you want, and built upon that trust and friendship as so many have done before them. Take pride in your Craft and in your brethren and in your daily lives always practice civility, truth and may we always meet by the square and always on the level.
